Partnerships

Bikes Not Bombs

Bikes Not Bombs partnered with the Boston University Center for Future Readiness from January 1 to June 30, 2024, to provide career development and future readiness programming for youth apprentices from historically underserved Boston neighborhoods, including Dorchester, Mattapan, and Roxbury. Through this partnership, BNB provided a platform for CFR to deliver evidence-based career development lessons during youth staff meetings and workshops, while sharing evaluation data on youth outcomes. In return, CFR provided a comprehensive career development curriculum covering self-exploration, career exploration, and planning skills, along with professional development for BNB staff, evaluation tools to measure youth progress, civic engagement resources, and grant support for laptop purchases to help advance youth careers.

National Youth Policy Institute, South Korea”

The National Youth Policy Institute (NYPI) of South Korea and Boston University Wheelock College Center for Future Readiness have established a three-year agreement, effective August 1, 2023, to create a framework for mutually beneficial collaborations. This partnership enables the development of various programs, including the exchange of faculty and researchers, collaborative research projects, conferences, and events—all subject to funding availability. The agreement operates through individual Program Descriptions that detail specific initiatives, fees, and cost-sharing arrangements between the institutions. Both organizations work together to advance youth policy research and career readiness initiatives across international borders, with all activities subject to compliance with U.S. and South Korean laws and regulations.
